Defining Creativity Podcast
Cultivating Creativity
A philosophy of listening, connection, play, inquiry, and creative expression.
I view creativity as an active way of engaging with the world, one that deepens learning, strengthens relationships, and opens new possibilities. Through music, storytelling, collaboration, reflection, and play, I work with individuals and communities to cultivate creativity across ages, disciplines, and settings.
Working with Children & Young People
Much of my work focuses on nurturing creativity in children and young people through music-making, composition, play, and collaborative learning experiences.
Creative Exploration & Community Projects
Projects invite participants to discover creativity through artistic exploration, storytelling, and hands-on experiences.
Reflection, Research, &
Creative Inquiry

What Connects This Work?
My work is grounded in an a/r/tographic perspective, which brings together the practices of artist, researcher, teacher, and writer. Rather than viewing these identities separately, I see them as interconnected ways of engaging with the world. Whether composing music with children, facilitating creative experiences, conducting research, or hosting conversations about creativity, I approach each endeavor as an opportunity for inquiry, reflection, and connection.
